The earliest history of the Borserio family that we know at present.
Agostino Borserio was born in 1798 in Villa di Tirano, near Sondrio in Lombardia. He married Giovanna Svanetti whose birthdate is 17 July 1799, also in Villa di Tirano. They married about 1820 and had two sons and a daughter. The second son was Giovanni Borserio, born on 6 January 1839 at Villa di Tirano, who migrated to the goldfields of Bendigo in 1864. He became Gary Hunt's great-grandfather.

Hi - I'm a descendant of Martino Borserio, and i would like to know more about the Borserio side of the family. Martino is my 5th generation ancestor, and my mother's maiden name was boserio (family dropped the r) and i would like to find out more from you if thats possible
